Project Overview
Meeting FISP Cycle 8 Safety Standards
Located in SoHo’s historic cast-iron district, 476 Broadway required FISP façade repairs SoHo to address spalled brick, failing mortar joints, and deteriorated limestone and terracotta. Our licensed team executed a comprehensive inspection plan, ensuring all distress areas were catalogued before work commenced.
Precision Masonry & Material Matching
We removed and replaced face-brick with exact color and texture matches, cut out and repointed all failing joints, and performed limestone sill patching and terracotta unit repairs using custom-cast infills. Every repair was tested to align with the original historic profiles, satisfying LPC and DOB requirements.
Durable Sealants & Finishing
All parapet and vertical-abutment joints received new backer-rod and high-performance silicon sealants, and we installed a custom sheet-metal cap at the cornice return for long-term waterproofing. Temporary scaffolding and a code-compliant sidewalk shed guaranteed public safety throughout
